Why Do Parents Choose Catholic Education?

“The thing that keeps me coming to school every day is that warm, comfortable feeling that comes over me when I walk in. Even on my worst days, when that feeling happens, it suddenly becomes a good day.” ~Sixth Grade Graduate 2023

Parents want their children to receive the best education possible, and at Sacred Heart Catholic School we have over 90 years of building a strong educational foundation within our students. Some of the primary reasons parents send their children to a
Catholic school are:

  • Catholic schools offer a high level of academic excellence infused with virtues.
  • Catholic schools provide an education in the Catholic faith with an emphasis on Catholic values.
  • Catholic schools help children develop healthy social relationships and sense of community within the school model.
  • Catholic schools offer a supportive environment for children to develop and showcase leadership skills.
  • Catholic Schools help students understand that each person is unique and valuable.
  • In Catholic Schools there is a mutual respect among students, faculty, and administrators which generates an atmosphere of care and concern.
  • Reverence for the human dignity of every person comes from recognizing Christ in self and others. Catholic schools strive to be “Christ-centered zones."

Collaborative Learning

Students work in groups to problem solve in order to unlock the clues needed to get to the next step to unlock it.  Below PreK 3 students work as a group to plant seeds.
